ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION TAORMINA QUAD BIKE TOUR
The quad tour in Taormina will take you to discover the hidden corners of this famous city. Millions of tourists walk through its beautiful main street every year, but only few people go further. This tour will take you to those places, along roads that climb up to the top of the mountain, where stands the beautiful village of Castelmola (in the list of the most beautiful villages in Italy). Here the view on the coast spread to 180 degrees, from Calabria to the smoking peak of Etna.
With the beautiful Mediterranean always in front of you, the trail go on until you see the beautiful Isola Bella, a marine protected area. This tour is characterized by the beautiful sea views with short 4x4 along dirty roads.

The journey of 1h30min leaves from Taormina, and after a short breafing you jump on saddle to the Madonna della Rocca Sanctuary to continue toward village of Castelmola, here we will stop in the famous Torrisi coffee for a break, then begin the descend to Taormina passing first from the garden, then the Catacombs and finally we will take a look of the wonderful Isola Bella.

The tour of 2h30min, in addition to the stages scheduled in the tour of 1h30min, reaches Monte Venere, around 900 meters in height, where we will stop near a water source to admire the splendid panoramic view over Taormina, Calabrian coast, Mount Etna , Greek Theater, the Bay of San Nicola, Madonna della Rocca, Castle of Saraceni, Castelmola town. During the descent we will enter in Taormina, passing first from the garden, then from the Catacombs and finally, we will take a look of the wonderful Isola Bella.
During the summer we suggest you bring a bathing suit and beach towel, because at the end of the excursion, if you want, you can stop at the beach of Isola Bella and take a swim.

To drive a quad bike it's enough the standard driver licence used in all part of the world. The minors aged with driver license can't carry passangers.
A quad can carry 2 people, the price is refers to the rental of a quad for 2 people.
