What happens in case of bad weather?
Outdoor activities are always affected by weather conditions. Last-minute cancellations are possible. Cancellations by our organization always entitle you to a full refund of the deposit. To know the policy about bad weather visit the "Assistance" page, "Reservations" section.
What is the spotting rate?
The spotting rate is 70%, this means that every 10 trips, 3 of them not spotting dolphin. This rate rises to 90% if we include other species of marine fauna, such as turtles, tuna, swordfish. Wildlife sightings depend on various factors, but our high success rate is thanks to the expertise and experience of our staff, who will guide you throughout this adventure. Please remember that we cannot guarantee sightings, as these animals live in wild. No refunds are provided in the event of no sightings.
Is it always possible to swim with dolphins?
Swimming with dolphins is not guaranteed, this mainly depends on a series of conditions that are assessed at the time by the crew. First of all the sea conditions: usually the sighting occurs in a very deep area of the Ionian Sea (5,000 meters deep), for this reason we speak of deep sea snorkeling. In this area the weather and sea conditions can change suddenly. Secondly, but probably the most important, the presence in the pod of calves, determines a protection behavior by the mother. In this conditions contacts with a human being can generate alert and protective actions could put the participants in danger.

Pricing & Included stuffs
The dolphin watching tour is accessible to anyone, adults and children. This tour will give you an extraordinary experience into the nature. Observing dolphins, whales, sperm whales, sea turtles in their natural ambient is a moment of great emotion that will mark your mind.
Excursion program*
The excursion will be carried out only with good weather conditions. A short introductory briefing will be held before boarding. Once on board we will set sail in the direction of an area with a high probability of encountering cetaceans. During the navigation you will be involved in the sighting activity helped by our marine biologist who will provide instructions and detailed information on the biology of the animals we will observe. During the navigation it will be possible to snorkel offshore and experience the extraordinary thrill of swimming with the dolphins (all the snorkeling equipment is provided by our organization: wetsuit, mask, tube and fins)
The heroes of this excursion
During this excursion it's possible to see one or more of the following 8 species of Cetaceans that commonly cross the Mediterranean Sea: Fin whale, Sperm whale, Common dolphin, Pilot whale, Rots, Striped dolphin, Bottlenose dolphin, Common turtle (Caretta Caretta) as well as species of fish like tuna, swordfish and much more!
*It's possible to experience seasickness during this tour.

Minimum booking required 2 people, maximum 12 people. Minor can participate only with parents.
🕒 How long does it last?
This experience lasts 3-hours and takes place in the morning or afternoon. You can choose departure time during booking selecting the favorite ones.

Wear a swimsuit and bring with you: beach towel, sunscreen, flip-flops.

All snorkeling equipment is included in the price: wetsuit (just for cold water), mask and fins.

7 meters boat 8 spots (no inflatable boat). Large retractable awning to protect from the sun, Whf, plotter, depth sounder, ladder to climb back up, life jackets, floating noodles.

This activity has a "Mid" sustainability level with very low emission, mainly due to reaching the spotting areas using boats equipped with latest-generation engines. Emissions are estimated to be less than 1 kg per participant. Furthermore, this activity does not cause noise pollution, to facilitate sighting the navigation is very slow. All the equipment used is scrupulously checked to avoid the release of plastics and microplastics into the sea. Finally, it does not cause any damage to the flora and fauna, any approach with wild life is safe for both participants and animals and it's always supervised by instructors. During this excursion, garbage recovery actions are carried out for a total of about 100 kg per month, sometimes freeing marine fauna trapped in pieces of nets or plastics of various types.

Wonderful trip even though no animals
We had a wonderful trip with Mario on beautiful coastline. Unfortunately we were not lucky enough to see any animals but it was still a great experience.
