This horse ride go along a path immersed in an extraordinary bucolic landscape, made of green olive and centuries-old almond trees called Kolymbethra garden. The name come from an evergreen plant that domine in this valley. The garden is very rich in flora with several species of fruit trees, such as citrus, carob, pistachio, mulberry. Close to the river and at the bottom of the limestone walls, we will find the Mediterranean scrub with myrtles and laurels. The vegetation is not the only power of this horse ride, it will leads you close to the Temple of Hephaestus, God of fire, the Temple of Heracles, the famous hero son of Zeus, until we reach a view point from which we can admire the Temple of Concord, preserved almost in its entirety, and then near the Temple of Juno, divinity of marriage and childbirth, located in the highest part of the hill.
