ETNA JEEP TOUR | HALF DAY
 
Half-day jeep tour include pick-up at your accommodation. On board Jeep 4x4 equipped for off-road on volcanic trails, we start towards the first stage of the tour. A short walk bring us along the crest of the huge Valle del Bove, a big volcanic depression with walls over 1000m high. The second stage will lead us on the edge of some lateral craters, from the highest points you will enjoy beautiful panoramic sea views. After the craters, a short drive on board the jeeps will take us inside a volcanic cave, with helmets and torches we will cross the volcanic canal, stopping on the most particular geological phenomena.

ETNA ALCANTARA JEEP TOUR | FULL DAY
 
The morning program of the Etna Alcantara jeep tour is the same with the half-day tour. The full day tour includes a lunch break of 45min at one of the most characteristic high-altitude shelters of Etna (lunch is not included, the participants can have lunch at the shelter or have their packed lunch). After the break, we leave for visit to the Alcantara Gorges, a very famous naturalistic site in the Alcantara park every years visited by millions of tourists coming from all over in the world. We will not reveal anything about it, leaving you the privilege of discovering it with your own eyes.

ETNA JEEP TOUR AT THE VOLCANOLOGICAL OBSERVATORY | FULL DAY
 
The Tour Includes pick-up at your accommodation. In the first stage of the tour is planned the visit at the Valle del Bove. Afterwards, on board Jeep we go up along the state road "Mare Neve" up to an altitude of 1800m. The route is characterized many different landscapes like forests, lava fields and immense lava flows. Arrived at the Etna north station, and always on board 4x4 vehicles equipped for the ascent, you will be transported up to 2900 meter of altitude through lunar landscapes and huge lava deserts, up to a big plateau near the volcanological observatory, where you will find under the most majestic crater of Etna: the King, the north-east crater. From here you will enjoy a unique view of the sea, Taormina and Calabrian coast.
 
Completed the descent to the station, the tour stop for a lunch break of 45min in one of the most characteristic high-altitude shelters of Etna (lunch is not included, the participants can have lunch at the shelter or have their packed lunch). ETNA JEEP TOUR TOP CRATER | FULL DAY
 

The TOP CRATER jeep tour includes pick-up at your accommodation or at the agreed meeting point. Until reaching the altitude of 2900 meters the program will be the same as described for the TOUR at the Volcanological Observatory, but unlike the latter, the TOP CRATER goes up to the summit areas of Etna an altitude of 3340 meters. Once arrived at the volcanological observatory, after an off-road route through immense volcanic deserts, we will abandon the jeeps to undertake a high-altitude trek accompanied by volcanological guides. Walking along a charming volcanic trail, you will reach the edge of one of the summit craters of Etna. The trekking is quite challenging, it will takes 4 hours for the ascent and descent with a difference in altitude around 500 meters. Along the way you will be surrounded by spectacular landscapes, and among fumaroles, sulphurous gases, stunning sea views, you will walk on the roof of Sicily, over one of the most imposing volcanic buildings on the planet, home of Hephaestus, god of fire.
